Egg Tempera

Egg tempera is an ancient medium dating all the way back to 4th Century B.C. in ancient Greece. Artists combine an egg mixture with raw pigments and paint on surfaces with strong absorption properties ( such as chalk gesso, paper or wood). Egg tempera behaves similarly to other aqueous media, but lends the artist a unique control over the opacity and saturation of their paint. Millie Hall loves this media for its delicacy, luminosity, flexibility and rich history.

Bleach Paint

Millie gives used clothing new life by painting each piece into a totally unique bleach paint design. If you have a jacket or pair of dark wash jeans that have fallen out of favor, fill out the contact form and commission it to be transformed into wearable art! (all clothing must be at least 80% cotton, linen or wool for bleach paint to be effective)
